Quickly categorize all your local trees. Stage 1=seems fine, no apparent problems. Stage 2=a problem has surfaced Stage 3=The problem has progressed and you know you need to swing into action. Stage 4=Likely too late to save it Stage 5=dead or will be soon. If we can treat before mid-Stage 3 the tree has a good chance of surviving. Start noticing, you will quickly be able to discern the different stages.
