Your Partner in Tree Health & Preservation
Dedicated to Protecting Trees
Greenshield Tree Health was created to help homeowners protect valuable trees from insects, drought stress, poor soils, and preventable decline. The company focuses on practical diagnosis, targeted treatment, and honest guidance about whether a tree can be helped.
A Practical Approach
Every tree is evaluated individually. Greenshield Tree Health provides clear, honest assessments, not sales pitches. If a tree can be helped, the right treatment options are explained. If a tree’s condition is too advanced for treatment, we’ll tell you so.
Owner and Chief Applicator Mike Champoux
Mike is an agronomist turned tree guy that got his Ph.D, and later a postdoc with the Rockefeller Foundation working with drought stress and it's interaction with plant diseases. 'Tree Health, not tree cutting, is my focus'.
Targeted Delivery
Material goes directly into the tree's vascular system, reaching the tissues that need it. Therefore, less material is needed compared to broadcast applications, largely eliminating harm to non-targeted pests. Injections can be at any time of year, but we avoid the coldest months.
For many tree health issues, trunk injection delivers treatment directly into the tree. This approach can reduce waste, limit exposure outside the tree, and provide targeted support where it's needed most.

No Drift
With Trunk injection there is no drift onto nontarget plants. The tree will grow out and around the plugs that have been left in place.
Injected treatments most often provide extended protection through the growing season. In fact, some treatments are only necessary every other year.
We Treat your Ornamentals as well
Numerous treatments for insects and disease problems.
Micronutrient Injections
Injected treatments can provide extended protection through the growing season. Micronutrient injections typically last 2-3 years.
Trunk injection is not a solution for every tree or condition. A professional assessment determines whether it's appropriate for your situation.
